Spring is here which means flower buds and blooming trees. It also means it is seasonal allergies time which causes sneezing, congestion, runny nose and other unwanted symptoms. Below are some tips on how to reduce your allergies.

  • On windy and dry days, stay indoors because of the amount of pollen in the air. The best time to go outside is after it rains since the rain clears the pollen that is in the air.
  • The clothes you wear outside should be removed after coming inside. You may also want to shower to rinse the pollen off.
  • Check to see if pollen levels are high, and if so you will want to close windows. The highest pollen count is in the early morning so avoid outdoor activity at that time as well.
  • Clean your floors often and use air conditioning in your house as well as in your car.
